Packaging Illustrations
Hoping to give my products a more polished presentation and to increase their educational value, I began to package them with technical illustrations. The first versions (in the upper left) were crude line-drawings. Later I added color, and then shading, and in one case, an origami shape.
Many of these illustrations are available for download on the TaylorCustom documentation page.
These are my earliest packaging illustrations. I drew them out by hand and taped several copies together, and then used the photocopier in the basement of my workplace to print them. | As my products became more sciency, I started to make more elaborate diagrams. Computer design tools, and cheap color laser printers made it easier to add color. | Adding shading to the drawings made them look a lot better. |
